Harper, Each week I am more excited about meeting you! You are becoming so real to me now that I can feel you inside of me. I love to feel you move around! Daddy felt you for the first time 2 weeks ago and has been even more in love with you since. You move the most in the morning, at night, and when I am driving. You must love music because I usually feel you move when I have music playing. :) As I feel you move more and more each week, I am reminded of one of my favorite bible verses. "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139: 13-14 I know that as you move around inside of me, God is knitting you together perfectly. I can't wait to see the beautiful mix of me and your daddy that you will be! Thank you God for giving me such a precious blessing! Daddy and I love you and can't believe we are only 17 weeks away from seeing your sweet face!

My Sweet Harper, I started writing in a journal tonight that I will be able to share with you one day. I want to write about all of the things that have happened during my pregnancy with you and the excitement we have during this 9 month waiting period! I decided after I write in the journal that I will also write here so I will have a digital copy of my thoughts, prayers, etc. I hope this will be something that you will treasure one day! We are so excited about your arrival in November! We had your big anatomy ultrasound today and go to see you. Your daddy and I were so excited to see how much you've grown in 18 weeks! You were squirming around and moving your arms all over the place. You certainly are your daddy's child! The ultrasound tech measured your arms, legs, head, tummy, etc. and you are measuring right on schedule. She said you looked healthy and growing right on track. Many prayers were answered today! We were also very excited to reaffirm that you are a sweet little girl! You are already loved by so many people and already have your sweet daddy's heart. You will definitely be a daddy's girl! I am looking forward to seeing your daddy love you like he has never loved anyone else before! You are so very lucky to have him as your daddy! We are truly amazed at what God can do! Watching you inside of me and seeing all of the intricate details that are put together to make you is an incredible experience. We are so blessed that God chose us to be your parents. We promise God daily to raise you in a Christian home and to raise you to love God with all of your heart because you are a child of His! We love you beyond anything you could ever imagine and the journey has just begun! Counting down the days until we meet you, Mommy and Daddy

Names

Tonight, your daddy and I talked about names for you. We came up with two names that have family ties to them and Christian ties as well. If you are a boy, we decided to name you Thomas Kellett Bryant. You will be named after my wonderful Grandfather, Pop-Pop and my dad, both are God-fearing men who have impacted so many lives as we know you will. Kellett comes from your daddy's family and is your grandmother's maiden name. Your daddy loved his grandfather as well so we wanted to keep the family name going. Your name is already strong, faithful, and perfect. If you are a girl, we chose the name Harper Elizabeth Bryant. Elizabeth is my first name so you will be named after me :) and it also is a family name on your daddy's side of the family. We love the name Elizabeth since it is in both of our families. You will impact so many lives in your lifetime because you were wonderfully made by God. He already has an incredible plan for your life and we know you will give many people grace. We are excited about these two names and cannot wait to find out if you will be Thomas Kellett or Harper Elizabeth. :) We prayed again for you today and praying for you to make it full-term with no complications. I thanked God for putting you, our miracle, in our lives and choosing us to be your parents. We are still speechless at God's plan for our lives and yours! We love you more and more every day!

The Journey Officially Begins

I am so excited to meet you! We got a positive pregnancy test on Sunday! Your daddy and I were in total shock but excited at the same time! I took 7 different pregnancy tests to make sure we were seeing positive results! I hope you know you are already loved beyond measure. We promise to raise you as God intended us to. You are a MIRACLE from the Lord and we are so thankful He chose us to be your parents! We were so surprised that we are going to meet you a lot sooner than we had thought. We cannot believe you will be here before the end of this year! We cannot wait to hold you, love you, and care for you. We know God has an unbelievable plan for you and we are excited to see what he has planned for your life and ours! We have prayed for you every day and will continue from now until forever. We pray that God will see us through the entire pregnancy and until we finally get to meet you face to face! Thank you, Lord for giving us this amazing miracle!! We are speechless and grateful for your overflowing blessings in our lives! We love you so much and counting down the days until we finally get to see you!!! Love, Mommy and Daddy

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." -Phillipians 4:6-7

Third Prayer

Dear God,
You know that I still desire a baby - someone to mold, teach, train, shape, guide, and help to grow in You. But until the day You give me that joyous blessing, help me to grow in You. Let me reach out to those around me. Let me witness and minister to the children You place in my path. You know my deep desire for a child. A little one to love and to hold, to care for and to cherish. Grant that my body can conceive and give birth to a beautiful, healthy baby in Your holy image. Heavenly Father, hear this prayer of my heart, mind, and spirit. Amen. -Hope

Second Prayer

Tonight, your daddy and I talked about our excitement. We are excited about this journey we have ahead of us. We know that God will bless us with you because God has put so many signs in our paths. Tonight, your daddy shared with me that his bible study last Sunday night with Ron was on Abraham and Sarah and how they conceived a child even though they were up against the impossible. God promised them a child and we know he has promised us you. When I got home tonight, I read chapters 15-21 of Genesis so I could remind myself of this story in the Bible. "For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him (a child)." -Genesis 18:19 God promised Sarah a child and he kept his promised and delivered a child to her. "Now the Lord was gracious to Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did for Sarah what he had promised. Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him." -Genesis 21: 1-2 I can't wait for our time to come for you! We both know that God is molding you in the palm of his hand at this very moment. We cannot wait to set our eyes on God's creation of you! We love you and are looking forward to the day you will be ours (hopefully soon!). We love you!

First Prayer

I am so excited to begin this journey thinking of you. I have been praying for the day that I finally accepted that I can and will be a mother to you. I have blocked this thought out for so many years because I believed that I could not become a mother. I don't know how you will come into our lives but I know I can't wait to meet you! God has put a constant yearning in my heart and mind for the last three weeks so I know the possibility of you is there. I promise that I will pray for you every day until you are in my arms and I will continue to pray for you each and every day of your life. Your daddy and I love you already and we don't even know who you are yet. We love you because you are OURS and were created by the ultimate giver, God. We know this is going to be a long, confusing, exciting, life-changing journey no matter what course God chooses to take us on but we know that it will be the best journey of our lives. I will need lots of prayers over the next few months, years, etc. or however long it will take to create you. I am reassured from God that he will answer my prayer for you. "I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him."-1 Samuel 1:27 In return, I promise to give you to the Lord and to raise you in His word. "So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord." -1 Samuel 1:28 I look forward to this journey ahead even though I have no idea where it will take us. I just cling to the promises of the Lord as promised in the Bible. We love you already!
